What's in Your Kit

Mute Body — The precision-fitted core that seats in your bell. This is your foundation.

Attachment Ring — Secures your resonator material firmly at the end of the mute.

Cloth Resonators — A starter set to get you going right away. Each one produces a distinct tonal character.

Getting Started

Place one of the included cloth resonators over the open end of the mute.

Secure it with the attachment ring — stretch it over the end of the mute so it holds the cloth snugly in place.

Seat the mute body snugly in your bell just like any standard mute.

Play. Listen. Experiment.

Now the Fun Starts

Once you've tried the included resonators, start experimenting with your own materials. Try cloth, paper, or aluminum foil. Layer two cloths with a piece of wood or plastic sandwiched in between. Vary the thickness, change the tension.

Every combination responds differently — and the result is a sound that is entirely your own.

Changing the resonator takes a few moments, so most players dial in their preferred configuration before a performance and then use it consistently throughout. At home, swap freely and explore as often as you like.
