The kit includes several cloth resonators to get you started. From there, the experimentation is up to you — players have tried cloth, felt, paper, aluminum foil, mesh fabric, and sandwiches of multiple materials. Every combination produces a different tonal character.

Absolutely! It does take a couple moments to swap resonators, so choose a passage where you have enough rests!

The prototype is 100% functional in every way. It is 3D printed in PLA, which may have a minor Z-seam imperfection on the surface — a cosmetic artifact of the printing process that does not affect performance. The production injection-molded version will have a smoother finish.
